Travelling Film Festival Newcastle 2023

The Travelling Film Festival Newcastle returns this year with a specially-curated program packed with local and international hits and film festival award winners.

The festival kicks off with a celebration of local filmmaking talent with Three Chords and the Truth. Join director Claire Pasvolsky and stars Jackie Marshall and Maisie Owens for a special evening with a live music performance, and a post-screening questions with the director.

Other highlights of the program include the sumptuous historical drama, Chevalier; the hilarious ode to cinephiles and video stores, I like Movies; and Christian Petzold’s Silver Bear winner at Berlin, Afire. Plus, actor-director Rachel Ward sets out to regenerate her northern NSW beef farm in the uplifting documentary Rchael's Farm.
