Newy Style Christmas Photos - Darby Street

Newcastle will be spreading some good old Aussie Christmas cheer throughout the month of December, with family-friendly free events popping up all over the city centre.
 
Christmas festivities kick off officially on Friday 4 December with an a-maze-ing tree display to explore in Civic Park. Following this, the city will dial up the holiday spirit with not-so-traditional Santa photos.
 
Gather your friends, family and pets and shake it like a pole-oriod picture at one of the free Christmas photos spot at Darby Street from 10 -15 December and Hunter St Mall from 17-22 December.

Step into a classic Aussie Christmas scene, complete with a spectacular backdrop for the picture perfect moment that resonates good times.

A dedicated hashtag (#newychristmas) has been created so visitors can quickly grab their polaroid snap and get on their merry way.
 
A Very Newy Christmas has been produced by Enigma and is funded by City of Newcastle’s Special Business Rate Program, in an effort to attract locals and visitors into the city centre.

9am to 5pm weekdays and 9am to 1pm Saturday
