City of Newcastle's Ripcurl Cup LIVESITE at The Station

Surf's up at The Station!!

From Thursday, 1 April the platform is transforming into the City of Newcastle’s Rip Curl Newcastle Cup Live Site! 

Every day for the duration of the World Surf League event, a ‘live site’ will be at The Station for the community to soak up the festival atmosphere.

With a big screen showing the live competition and surf movies on lay days, complete with food trucks, face painting, entertainment and giveaways, The Station is the perfect location for those who can’t get beachside for the action at Merewether.

The live site will be a family-friendly way for locals to enjoy the festival atmosphere brought through the Championship Tour event.
