Christmas Tree Maze

Newcastle will be spreading some good old Aussie Christmas cheer throughout the month of December, with family-friendly free events popping up all over the city centre.
 
Christmas festivities kick off officially on Friday 4 December with an a-maze-ing tree display to explore in Civic Park. Following this, the city will dial up the holiday spirit with not-so-traditional Santa photos.

Smell the fresh pine while getting lost in Civic Park’s maze, made using 120 fully sized Christmas trees. By day kids will have a great time finding their way through the maze and by night, onlookers can enjoy the sparkling solar-powered tree lights, helping give the city a little extra Christmas spirit.

A Very Newy Christmas has been funded by City of Newcastle’s Special Business Rate Program, in an effort to attract locals and visitors into the city centre.
