"It’s quite a challenge baking a cake in 25 minutes whilst singing!", says mezzo soprano Deborah Humble in her recent "Sounds Like Sydney" interview, about her role in "Bon Appétit". "Bon Appétit", an operatic comedy, depicts the beloved celebrity cook, Julia Child, baking a chocolate cake .

Newcastle Music Festival and FogHorn Brewhouse invite you to this operatic amuse-bouche, starring acclaimed international mezzo-soprano Deborah Humble and former Head of Music for Opera Australia, Sharolyn Kimmorley, as associate artist, coming to Newcastle Food Month on April 20.
