Bring the family - sing, dance and enjoy a line-up of talent never before assembled in Newcastle!

Featuring Andy Firth, Terence Koo Trio, Newcastle Youth Orchestra and NYO kids, Conservatorium of Music Civic String Quartet, Arts Orchestra and Concert Band with guest vocalists and the Conservatorium’s combined choir of 100 VOICES.

FREE fun for the young and young at heart: inflatable rides, Christmas craft, face painting, a children's music song marquee, roving star stilt walkers and a visit from Santa.

Pickup a delicious dinner in the park from fantastic food stalls.

5:30pm:Park open for fun, delicious food and delightful music beginning with the Newcastle Youth Orchestra

6:20pm:NYO is followed by an amazing line-up of singers, musicians and a 100 voice choir each singing Christmas carols and a mix of popular No. 1 STAR hits from across the decades

8:15pm:The Lord Mayor of Newcastle lights up the trees over the fountain, followed by: a visit from Santa, Andy Firth guest solo performance on saxophones and clarinet, and much more…

9:30pm:Grand Finale medley - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Joyful, Joyful with guest artist rap session, then everyone join-in for We Wish You A Merry Christmas!
