A new concept from Twilight Musical Dialogues Artists Director Sally Walker brings Christ Church Cathedral alive with a program that honours philanthropic support of the arts - which dates back to the time of Shakespeare!  In Newcastle, the relationship between donors and artists has led to creative partnerships such as this concert, where the donor switch roles to become artistic contributors. The program is put together around their requested music - ranging from Pachebel's Canon, to Rumanian Pan-Pipe Music, to a new composition by outstanding Nova Castrian, David Banney.

Sally Walker will feature on flute with Mezzo Soprano Jenny Duck-Chong, Artistic Director of celebrated Sydney-based awarding winning ensemble Halcyon and mentor to TMD. She and Sally will perform the world premiere of David Banney's "Psalms"

write especially for them and composed as part of a larger project to feature the architecture and acoustics of Australia's Cathedrals.

Also joining Sally on stage will be young accordionist Neil Simpson who was our Youth Performer in the Kingdom of Bohemia concerts;  Flautists Hannah Caterer (TBD Operations Manager and Youth Performer in Quirindi), Sarah Mepham (TMD hospitality who performed with Sally at the Australian Flute Festival) and Sarah Monk (who performed Indian music on the Venu for TMD Australia); with Cathedral Organist, Peter Guy.
