Hamilton Walking Tour

Discover how a 19th century settlement of immigrant coal miners transformed into the vibrant multicultural suburb of Hamilton.

The Walking Tour begins at the Hamilton Post Office. Walkers can visit 22 sites including hotels, churches, cafes, a delicatessen, Victorian terraces, and the tranquil Gregson Park.

Further afield are 9 points of interest such as the former McIntyre’s flour mill, Saint Peter’s Anglican Church and the Hamilton railway station and signal box.
