The former Newcastle Railway Station is the city’s most unique pop-up venue destination alongside Newcastle’s iconic waterfront. ‘The Station’ has a huge outdoor platform with large heritage awnings, a brand new landscaped piazza, and picnic space adjoining Market Street Lawn.
With over 7235m2 of flexible space, the historic Station caters for bespoke events, from small intimate gatherings, to fitness classes, workshops, conferences, weddings, markets and festivals.
The Station’s eclectic mix of onsite attractions further enhance the venue’s appeal, including a band stand performance space, a kids scooter track with plenty of room for the littlies to run and scoot around in the open air, a mix of pop-up events and shopping (think jewellery, clothing, homewares and tasty treats), an artists workshop and gallery, a bookable studio space, and interpretive design features including the much-loved 'Flyer' train.
