Fort Scratchley is situated at the eastern end of Newcastle. To protect the coastline in the event of an attack, Fort Battlesticks was constructed and the site became known as Signal Hill. Today the Fort operates as a museum and unique venue for business events.
The Function Centre is a purposebuilt centre with spectacular views over the ocean. The historical Barracks rooms are two adjoining rooms, located within the Fort grounds, opening onto a small balcony that offers brilliant foreshore and harbour aspects.
