Here are a few sneak peaks:

Velvet Sunday

Velvet Sunday launch their first stall at The Olive Tree Market. Emerging designer Nadine Coghlan is the creator of Velvet Sunday, a slow-crafted jewellery brand. Nadine aims to create unique and timeless pieces that carry a meaning for those unspoken moments. Nadine says that her pieces are created: “To say that which cannot be said, and to say it with beauty and grace.”

Velvet Sunday uses the ancient lost wax casting method, a technique where illustrations are hand-carved into wax and then cast into metal. This method produces pieces that are organic, individual, and imperfect. The range is available in sterling silver, solid gold, 14ct and 18ct triple gold plate and brass.

MYRIAM is founded by Miho Arai who worked as a lingerie designer for 7 years in Tokyo, Japan before moving to Newcastle to begin her new life and her swimwear label in this ‘Aussie paradise’ Simple and stylish designs, and materials, accentuate what makes any woman beautiful. Most importantly, MYRIAM swimwear is 100% designed and made in Australia which means you can buy with confidence.

His main focus is landscape, seascape and wildlife photography. David says “In an age of increased technology use, I believe we must ‘disconnect’ to connect with mother nature. Photography is my way of connecting and expressing that deeper beauty in all things around us.
