Touchscreen Visitor Information Kiosks

Newcastle has 16 touchscreen visitor information kiosks located at various points around the city. Click on the link (below right) for kiosk locations.

The kiosks are electronic terminals with which visitors can access information about things to do, attractions, transport, events, dining and accommodation.

On the kiosks visitors will find descriptions of operators, photo galleries, maps, brochures, menus, tips, pricelists and more. Users can also print contact details for operators by selecting the 'print details' icon.

A popular feature of the kiosks is the 'must-do experiences' section; a selection of experiences that are quintessentially Newcastle. Examples include fish and chips at the canoe pool, and a walk along our magnificent harbour.

Each kiosk is updated monthly with fresh and accurate information. Accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the kiosks have revolutionised visitor information in Newcastle.

Face to face customer service is still provided at the following locations:

The Maritime Centre
3 Honeysuckle Drive
Newcastle NSW 2300

Hunter Wetlands Centre
412 Sandgate Road
Shortland NSW 2307

For further information on the touchscreen kiosks please email tourism@ncc.nsw.gov.au or call our freecall phone number 1800 654 558.
