This is where four times world champion surfer Mark Richards learnt to surf at the age of five. Mark, who still calls Merewether home, can often be seen catching a wave or relaxing on the beach with his wife and family. Malibu Surfboard Riding Champion, Martin McMillan also calls Merewether home.
